jumpin the wake

hey i'm just checkin in cause i'm havin trouble jumpin the wake i'm gettin way up there and i'm clearin it but i'm havin trouble landin it either the board slides from under me or i catch my edge what should i do

Keep the handle at your hips throughout the whole jump, from start to finish. Absorb the landing with weight on your heels.

If you do have a good solid release off the wake and just cant pull your landings together, try to take a few inside/out jumps- you start inside the wake, take a quick cut, stand tall and release off the lip of the wake, and land into the flats. The landing will be softer than a wake to wake jump, and you will be more in-control, that will help you dial in your landings. Thats how I got comfortable with big toeside jumps and it helped a ton.

WTF are u doing riding a parks if you cant even jump the wake. It is just holding you back because you are a begginer. You need to get the CWB Sol. It is a noobie board.

dude i can do other stuff like surface trick 180 360 ollie 180 360 ollie indy 180 jump the wake tailgrab but for some reason just jumpin the wake with no tricks i'm havin trouble i don't know why ure just mad cause i got a better board than you do

Yeah im a newbie cuz i just joined man. I got better stuff to do than sit inside and talk to all you newbs that dont gotta clue about wakeboarding. I actually go outside and go wakeboarding and become better. something u guys should think about doing. Cool
