Why is it some people have this title but others don't that have about the same posts. Is their like a certain amount of time that you had to be a member of the old site or something?

i think to obtain freak status on the old site you had to have 2,500 posts or more. the only people that had it were funkster, craig, and Bfly. iv'e seen a few other people with the "old school freak" under there screen name but i dont really know how they got it. i dont really understand or care about the icon next to my name because if you post reglarly the other regualar posters will remember who you are. apparently a lot of people are worried about their post count because there has been a lot of talk about it. maybe they feel like they have labored long and hard for it or somethin. who knows.

Yea, I was wondering about that myself... I've seen some people on here that I don't remember from the other site but they still have the old school freak thing... no worries though... its just a website right?

The old post count wasn't moved over with the new Account setup....
Everyone needed to start from zero again....
For guys like me with 5 years of posting before the change it was a little disappointing but I also agree it doesn't really matter that much anyway.

I could post a bunch of one liners to get my count up but what does that accomplish? nothing...

Just wondering, did Pat give that to you or did you find a way to get it for yourself? I would prefer we just stick with the original old school freaks, just because there were quite a few commies before and then former addicts might start asking and I just like having only a few people carrying that smiley.

I just gave it to people who asked, and were a freak or very close to a freak status on the old site. Personally, I think it's more fun to go by the system where your icon and status change depending on posts. Old School Freaks won't change, so it's a bit more boring in my opinion. But people wanted it, and they spent a lot of time on this site and I appreciate that, so I was happy to oblige.
