latley i havent been getting much air 3-4 feet which really sucks because i want to try some tantrums and scarcrows really bad.
i was watching videos and asking my parents of what i like like compared to them.
we had our knees bent just as much, rope in the same place and standing tall at the wake.
and i couldnt figure out why he was getting huge air. then i said, does my board angle that much out of the water and they said no its nearly flat compared to this guy.... http://wakeboarder.com/videos/tantrum.mov
so if a picture were taken to my side when edging my board would look like ___------ when the other dude has his board like this /
sorry if its confusing, but summed up: his heels are digging into the water 20X more than mine are.
would i get more air if my heels dug into the water a lot more _________________ Wake Forest University |

You gotta trip it...try a post in the trick tips, you'll get a lot better response.
...or probably a lot of people telling you to do a search. |

| What you need to work on is your progressive edge. Now that means that you need to build up your edge all the way through the wake. Don't flatten the board. You have the right idea about handle position and standing tall, just remember to hold your edge through the wake and you should get better pop. |

You will get a massive pop off the wake if you are on a good edge when you get to the wake. If you flatten off just before the wake then the wake acts like a ramp and unless you are carrying a lot of speed (Which you shouldn't be) you wont get any real pop. _________________ Wakeboarding is so Kool in Ireland! |
