Whats up guys, thought I'd just share a stupid story with ya'll. Last weekend I tried to wakeskate for the first time, and had no clue how you were supposed to get up, and I stupidly tried to do it laying down on the board, which had sandpaper like grip tape on the top, and then standing up once we got going, bad idea. I bounced around on that thing as soon as we got going fast and my knees and legs absolutely got torn to pieces, I've got a huge gash down my left leg and random cuts all over my right leg. And to top it off I rode with no shoes and I fell once and scraped my big toe across the grip tape as I fell, and now half my toenail is ground down to like paper thin. Hahaha guess I learned my lesson on getting up and wearing shoes. I finally after several tries of laying down, decided to try it like a wakeboard and got up easily. Still it was alot of fun.

Lessons learned:

1. Don't lay on a wakeskate with griptape.
2. Don't ride a grip-tapped wakeskate with out shoes.

That sucks man. Cuts shouldn't keep you off the water. Pretty funny though.

Won't make that mistake again, yea it definitely hasn't kept me off the water, I'm wakeboarding this afternoon. Might even give the ol' wakeskate another go today.

that how i tried to get up my first time too, execpt i had a foam board, so no scrapes
