I'm guessing 95% of you saw my thread about whether the HO board I got was worthwhile...that doesn't matter anymore cause I'm obviously keeping it
Here's how it was 2 days ago when I bought it-
Here it is now-
All I did was sand probably 80% of the graphics off, and then painted. I did probably 4 -5 coats depending on color and changing my mind with different stuff. 3-4 coats of clear coat on top.

Haha, yea, stickering is tough to do "right". Same with everything else, it's all about personal preference. In my opinion, I like to clump and overlap stickers in off center places and off axis orientations. And I try to make the stickers follow the overall pattern of the existing graphics, so basically I make the stickers flow with what's already on the board. For example, I like the placement of that Active sticker because it is towards the edges, and it follows that bottom left black line. Do more stuff like that, and I think it'll look a little better. Oh, and by the way, that paint job is real nice, was that air brush or rattle can?? _________________ Go Cougs! |

Yeah, I might do a few more stickers. I clear coated over the existing ones so there's no way to remove them, but hey, I like them and that's all that matters. I did the paint job with spray paint.....
thanks for the comments guys |
