New 05 Ultras

So anyone know why they decided to make them come up much shorter on the leg this time? or at least it looks like they do from the pics. I like the idea actually, I'm excited to get my hands on a pair. Anyone know any other improvements or changes for 05?

Just rode my 05 ultras today on the delta, easily the most comfortable bindings i have ever ridden in. One weird thing about the 05s is that they have this strange goo pack underneath where your heel will go, sort of like a shock absorber. All i know is that i bought an xl pair because i have a size 11 foot , sort of on the bubble, they are a little loose, but still feel great. And with a little soap they are easy to get in and out of unlike previous models.

LF says that the '05 ultra's will be much easier to get in and out of than previous years models. I haven't got mine yet but I'll let you know if that is actually the case.

Yeah, I've got a size 11 foot as well, I think I'm gonna get XL's to be safe, better loose than too tight in my opinion. I hope wakeside gets theirs in soon, the season is ending here in MN!!! It was frickin 50 degrees today!!! Where's my august going?

I like the ultras because they are so comfy and light. hey are probably the lightest binding on the market.

CharJ2005, From I can tell, being on the bubble with a size 11 foot sucks, Im pretty sure you can adjust the wrap of the ultras but i havent done it yet, when i wore mine they were kind of loose but they felt so good and rode so well it didnt really bother me, when you get yours be careful if theyre too loose

Where can I order some 05's online?? I've checked out a bunch of place but no one has them. Buywake has the 05 alphas but no ultras so I'm guessing they're out already

LF expects to have more ultras in sometime next week, from there they will go to the dealers. probably 2 weeks or so until you'll be able to get your hands on some.

BoardStop will have their LF stuff online in the next couple of days, and be getting stuff in stock over the next couple of weeks. You'll probably be out of luck trying to get '05 Ultras right at this very moment.

Damn I'll be back at school in 2 weeks. Guess im gonna have to fix my overlay on the ultras I have now. Anyone else have problems with their overlays ripping. I have some 02's that were ripping so i bought some of the 04 overlays and after a week it ripped clean off. I think I might have had them too tight but that shouldnt matter. Grr taking ultras apart is no fun Evil or Very Mad
