Welcome to the Tige family. That's the first '05 I have seen that is not those brochure photos. Nice move on the Monster Tower, I'm not a big fan of the '05 towers. Awesome colors and design. Enjoy!

The '05 Towers were not available yet (and personally I did not think did the limited justice) so the dealer had Phat Buddee towers there and I wasn't crazy about them, so I had good luck in the past with Monster and went for it. The board racks went on right after this photo and the bimini is on its way. The wake is really good with this boat, I am gonna play with weight locations this weekend and get some more pics, these were all I got befor the riding started
Thanks for the compliments!!!

| You just called that beautiful wakeboard boat, a ski boat. If it refuses to start the next time you go out I will understand!

Sorry, old habbits die hard, when I say "wakeboard boat" to a lot of my friends they look at me like when I say ski boat the look like . I will greatly appologise to her Friday night when I see her again and treat her to a tank of high test, that should make up for it

I will shoot pics this weekend when I get back to the lake, cool that it sits in a slip infront of my cabin but sucks that the cabin is two hours away. I would have taken more pics but I didn't get the boat till about 4:00 Sunday and had to drive home so a session took priority over pictures, sorry. Interior is very similar to the '04s, difference is, this is gonna be kind of hard to explain, bit the seat cushions pull out leaving a cushion lip around the outside, what I mean is when you pull up a cushion to get into the storage areas the center pulls up and leaves the outer part of the cushion in place. I will take a pic of that this weekend.
Second is the passenger backrest does not lift up but swings out into the walk way making access to that storage compartment much easier.
The only difference I really saw in graphics was they added the 24V logo to the back of the side hull which I liked.
When I first demo-ed the boat the only option it had was dual batteries, the dealer had ordered it basically blank to customize it. I had them install the following:
Monster tower with board racks and bimini (bimini is on the way)
Wakeboard Pro
Clarion head unit with Sirius radio, 6 MB Quarts 6.5s amped, one 10" kicker sub
Rear eating table (well worth it)
Front bow filler
Door for under folding windshield (great for the late night trips for something to eat when it is cold out)
Docking lights
I am working on building my own ballast system and will also install a 3 port heater (North East PA gets cold early and stays cold late in the spring ) and a freshwater flush kit for the beach excursions.
I am not at liberty to disclose the price as I fell it was a stellar deal, especially on an '05. If you live in the North East the dealer has 4 more '05s and a leftover loaded 22v Riders he wants to move.
Thanks for the compliments, and I promise more pics of the boat Monday.

wow... thats interesting about the seats. It sounds like the inside roll on the seating surface stays, and the main panel comes off with the outside roll (closest to the seatback.
which engine did you get?
I was just looking at your colors... the '04 24v I was looking at had the exact same color scheme- it was the one used for the 2004 catalog. great choice- understated, but elegant.
I've got some video of the boat below if you want to compare the changes...

| I went with the 5.7 340hp motor, plenty of power in that motor. You are right on with the seats, the part under your knees stays while the part under your butt pulls out, makes it nice cause no snaps to keep the cushions in place. The interior is tan and white, no blue, I wasn't crazy about all the blue that they had used in that boat.

| Would that make the cubby under the seats bigger? Those rolls are pretty fat.

I'm assuming not... What I'll bet they did is leave the fiberglass part the same and split the top part, then anchor the roll to the edge of the seat.

| Storage is about the same, the rolls are attached to the fiberglass. I took a few shots this weekend but didn't get home from the lake till after midnight so I didn't have a chance to download the pics before work. I'll get them posted tonight or tomorrow morning.

interesting... looks like they removed the anchor storage hatch in the front, as in the '03 to '04.

| The center cushion in front pulls out for anchor storage. Personally the only desing flaw I see with the Tige's is there is not a seperate anchor hatch in the front, that was the only thing I felt the boat was missing

You are right, they did eliminate that one anchor storage access.
On yours do you have the factory ballast system or did you put an aftermarket in?

I didnt want to lose storage space with the rigid system, so I use sacks. Its funny- was looking at the same paint scheme on an '04... looks sharp!

awesome... yeah, I like the 2-tone bow insert. I got to walk around an '05 22v and an 05 22i today. interesting interior changes! I did notice though that the tow point on the 05 factory tower is about a foot higher than the '04s. I had a unique reference, because the two '05s were sitting next to an '04 22v, and I was standing about platform level, about 2 feet back.

Is there actual logic or theory behind moving the towpoint that high up or was it just a result of a new design?
Like the Monster tower on the 24 holiday! Looks like a great boat, have fun with that beauty.

Ruune, How did you like the feel of the '05 22V. Looks like were ordering one this weekend once we try them out but haven't even seen one in person yet. I hate the look of the new tower and I'm not sure about going straight to Monster Tower yet so it kinda puts me on the spot. I like the new graphics though.

| Tower might be taller so lights and speakers will fit better with a bimini top installed. We just had two '05s come in Saturday and the new tower is rock solid.
