| I ride at 75' and 24.7 behind a SAN. I've tried every other combination out there and this just feels best for where I'm at right now. |

| I ride a 70' at 23 behind an x-10. just choose your rope length and then adjust your speed so that the clean wake is where you are riding |

HYPERLITE_103, if it works where you have it keep it...
Just get the rope right where the cleanest part of the wake is |

You should first decide what speed you are comfortable riding at. Then ride next to the wake. Adjust the rope length so you are about 3 feet in front of the curl. The speed of the boat changes where the fat part of the wake is. The riders weight and ability level determines speed. The pro's are going so fast (27mph) they need like 90 feet of rope to hit the fat part. _________________ GO BIG OR GO HOME ! |

| HYPERLITE_103, Ride where your wake sets up best, and at a speed where you feel comfortable. |

75ft @23ish when riding behind 04 malibu 23xti. 65 at 21 behind my 89 sunsetter(weighted). New tricks = slower speed so getting cleaned out doesnt wreck you as bad. Another thing to think about is how hard you want your landings to be, longer rope= more air time between landing wake to wake. _________________ Hold up....Wait a minute.... | I ride at 85', between 26-26.5 mph if it's on a inboard 21' & over. If it's on a smaller boat like Ski Nautique 2001 or MC Pro star 190, then I shorten it to 75' at about 25 mph. |
