Just wear socks and any bindings will feel more like snowboard bindings.

The CD bindings are practically snowboard boots made with material for water. I have the PS01's and they feel alrite but the footbed is not very good. You get sore heels on big landings but the highbacks have relative feel but I like the soft footbed that makes landings feel alot softer.

wakeboarder_360, this is where personal preference comes in - of all the different bindings I have ridden the CD footbed is the most comfy to me.

That's too bad the heel padding isn't enough for you. Have you tried Nice bindings? They have super-cushy footbeds (which turned out to be bad for me).

the highbacks are comfortable and I like how easy they are to put on and get tight. My PS01's take forever to put on and don't even feel as snug as the highbacks. the only reason I think the PS01's are thin is because the highbacks footbed is pretty thick but not to cushy. Its also alot easier for me to tweak grabs with the highbacks.this is all personal preference.

billyjodonjimbob, nice PRS1's are nothing like snowboard boots. They are missing 1 essential snowboard boot quality - high ankle wrap.

Check out O'Briens new line-up of high end bindings!!
Very comfortable and supportive. I have ridden the Radons and the Xenons, and I would say the Radons are stiffer then the Xenons.
I haven't ridden the Argons but they have a strap across the foot to provide extra heel hold down.

Check them out if you get a chance.

Here is a link: http://wake.com.au/modules.php?name=Bindings

Later,
jjakober
