|
|
We are looking at upgrading from our '98 Moomba D-Drive to a new Mobius LSV. There are two problems: 1) I can't see dropping 30k+ on a boat that I have never ridden behind, and 2) the boats are so darn popular that the dealers around here don't have any for us to demo.
Can you help? My guy and I would be glad to give you some gas money or beer for a pull or two behind your LSV in the WI-IL area. Please reply here or send me a message. Everything we have read makes us think that the LSV will be the right boat for us, but riding behind one will really help us make a decision that we can live with. Thanks for the consideration! Liz |

No need to ride behind one just buy it and ride. The wake is much better than what your on now I've been on both. Right now I'm riding on 2 different boats the cal air pro V and a X star.
Get out and have fun! _________________ Who is that masked.....

Lizrd,
I have one of the last '04's coming in this month to CSR/Ultimate Wake. I can arrange a demo ride no problem.
Just hit me up,

Lizrd, are you going to be at Boot Camp this coming weekend? I'll have my LSV there if you want a ride.
If you're not going to Boot Camp and NAW doesn't hook up with you then I'm pretty sure I'll be riding up on the Fox one of these weekends with my friends. I could hall the boat up there and you could meet us out.
I wouldn't buy a boat without driving it and riding behind it either. I can pretty much guarantee that you will love the boat though.

Wakepics - actually I really enjoy the boat we have now -- we load it up with 2000 lbs or so and ride at least six days a week...it's not as if I am sitting at home knitting all summer! Plus, at all the contests we go to I get a chance to ride behind lots of different, nice boats (SANTE, Centurion, Tige, Supra, Malibu, etc.)-- I just haven't been behind a Mobius LSV yet.
NAW - I emailed you -- is CSR Chicago SeaRay? That's the only place we shop in IL!
Dutch - We can't make Boot Camp. We have the Redline tournament on Friday, the Munson Contest on Saturday and I work Sundays. Bummer! If you DO launch on the Fox in the next few weeks please IM me. I'd even enjoy watching others behind the LSV just to see what it is capable of.
Thanks everyone! Wakeboarder.com is the greatest! |

CSR is Chicago Sea Ray.
Never buy a boat without riding or driving it.
Yes Dutch, you need to get out on the Fox - soon!
And yes, it's a damn nice boat.
How is Wonder Lake? Haven't been on it since I was a kid. Pretty crowded? Isn't it private (keyed or something?) |

| gotcoorsgotwake -- Wonder Lake is great. Home prices are still reasonable and the lake is not crowded. Lately we have noticed a lot of yahoos but we usually have April-June to ourselves and September-November it's empty, too. Yes, the lake is private so access is restricted by key. Each subdivision has a gated, locked launch. |

Dutch - Plans have changed and we are going to try to make it to Ottawa Saturday after an early morning set on our lake. Keep an eye out for us - I think we are gonna bring our ride ('98 Mobius w/blue metal flake). We aren't familiar with the river so hopefully we can find a map somewhere.
We would LOVE to get a pull behind the LSV if you are out in the afternoon/evening. What color boat should we look for? Hopefully we can hook up...I'm really glad we can make it since we missed Midwest Wake Fest which I know is ALWAYS a good time.
Thanks - Liz & Mike |

Liz, I got your latest mail and replied.
Christian is already down at the event, so I'll answer for him. I'm sure he'll give you a pull. His boat is an '03 Mobius LSV Gravity Games Edition, all black, sponsor decals, etc, etc.
Look for the Soulriders.com trailer and campsite, my boat won't be far (Granite, Black, White Supra Launch).
Hope you guys can make it!! _________________ www.MidwestMilitia.net |
