| Really depends on how you ride. I say for skiing/wakeboarding nautique... but i also like master crafts a lot. Any specific models you have in mind? |

I'm of the opinion that if you've got the dough to buy boats from any one of the big three (Natique, Mastercraft, Malibu) then you cant go wrong, and everything else is up to personal preference. They all three throw huge wakes, are reputable companies, and are all-around great boats. _________________ "I knew those girls were pros, but don't tell Turtle, it'll break his heart." - Drama, Entourage |

Centurion baby!
Absolutely love my Centurion. Throws a monster wake - especially with 300 pounds of fuel in the stern - at wakeboarding speeds, but flattens out at waterski speeds. I'm a newbie, but the wake seems to be large with a soft lip (OK, I'm getting myself excited ). Looks like a nice ramp to me.
Basically I think any of the newer tow-boats are great. Centurion, Malibu, Tige, Mastercraft, Natique, Calabria, etc.). They shape their hulls specifically for the wake. With several of them, they even have "thingies" to make bigger wakes. Some have fins to push the stern down. Some have water tanks (fat sacs and all). All-in-all though, you can tow a wakeboarder behind a jetski if you want to. _________________ Shifting from day to night, shifting from snow skiing to wakeboarding, shifting from professional to professional goof-off - always shifting. |

| Well if you want to do competition skiing and wakeboarding I would get a direct drive. Either a MC or CC are going to be great boats. The Nautiques are generally a very steep wake while MCs are more of a gradual ramp. Some people don't like the steepness of the Nautique wake, it can throw you off balance. I personally love it. As far as quality, they're both top knotch. |

| I have a 2003 Malibu Wakesetter and love it. Nice big wake with everything on and when everything off it is still a descent ski boat. Tige and Mastercraft are also good but Mastercraft is expensive. |
