This thread is on here a lot, I would look for them to find more responses. However you will find "grip" to be the clear cut winner. I would say grip, but I have never wakeskated.

Is taking off foam the same as taking off griptape (blowdryer to heat it up and peel it off)? I've regripped my skateboard but I don't want to end up with some messed up mixture of grip and foam.

Can I just have my local shop do it for me?

Weird...typing fvcked up is monitored and edited as "bubb rubb" haha

I put no slip gator grip on my skate, works like a charm.

im gonna say foam on this one. i hate shoes ...so foam is the way. ive never used grip tape but from what ive heard it stays with you better than foam but falls can scratch the hell outta your legs, whereas foam just hurts.
