Getting a bit frustrated with my air rolls. when i try roll it i dont get the rotation. if i flip it i get to my feet. tried roll to revert but just came out the front. think i just cant scoop the board enough. am i supposed to cut out at all before throwing the trick? i just cut momenterally just outside the wake just enough to short hard load on the line.
The other question is how to initiate an eggroll?
These i am doing behind a boat and not on the cable.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Can't give you any tips from experience, but if you watch the "NorCal Riders" video on this page, at about the 2:22 mark, the rider does an Air Mobe. That should give you a little insight into the edging required for the air roll.

Try them off the curl of the wake, there is energy pushing upwards and it can help you get a quicker release.

Ride in the trough of the wake, heelside wake would be easier, and just give a hard backroll snap release up the wake. Kind of like a reentry trick. Keep the handle on your outside hip, suck your legs in, land real low.

I cant get the board all the way around without my front edge diving, and that isnt fun going 24, so I really dont fool with them.

Oh see many replies. had a bit of a hard disc faliure. sucks.

HEELSIDE back roll. i am goofy so i do that in the flat cutting away from the wake.
Got pretty close on a lot of occasions. happens fast. Land on the board but happens real fast. need to know how to slow it down if i can because im throwing it more like a mexi roll, letting go of my back hand on release. sometimes the board hits the line on my way round, ripping the handle away.

EGGROLL is a air scarecrow i believe?

JIM think your thinking of a toeside back roll? or is that how you do the eggroll? and as for being 24, i didnt start till i was 31.

AndyDeeJay What the fik is ya tarking about? dya luike dags? ya tarking balliks! How are you, sent you a text but got lost in ireland. Hows your trampolining going? got any chicks next door you can see when your bouncing? laters
