| well I'm a newbie myself, but as far as a specific board, for a new boarder I think the hyperlite movement is a pretty sweet board, I've done well with it. I'm 6'0" and it's perfect.. |

anything from 137-140 is a good size for you. demo a few in that range if you can and see which feels the best. _________________ Some female cows have horns, but you wouldn't really know anything about that now would you? |

| it depends on if you like a small board or big board, 136-140 should be good. |
