Today I was kicked out because I'm 17

Today my family went to a Bahama Breeze to order takeout. And a bartender told me to go sit in a waiting room, escorted me there, then didn't bring my drink(water), just because I was 17. It made me really angry. Especially b/c I've been there before and never once had this problem. Evil or Very Mad

that has happened to me too before i was 21 i would goto a bar like 10 times with my paretns to eat then randomly get kicked out

that sucks kim. something like that happened to my sis except she was legal. me, her and her bf were waiting for my mom in a hotel in the lounge int eh lobby and the tv was on. they asked me and my sis to leave even thoguh we were only watching tv and my sis was totally legal. also her bf was underage and he got to stay. it was gay.

That's dumb if you were with your parents under supervision I really don't see the problem with just waiting for food. If you were my kid I would have walked out and not gotten the food. Jerk bartenders really tick me off. Yeah I guess they could get into trouble but I doubt anyone would have a problem if you were with your parents.

dude thats the problem that is wierd since u were with your parents. But I work at a liquor store and if I sell to a minor i personally get screwed. I get fined hella money. So I can halfway understand it but its still dumb. If someone is with their parents i never say a word.

i got kicked out of the Casino in Atlantis when i was with my parents, we were just walking through to get to the other side of the hotel, i was like 12 years old then

ya they escorted me too, ya it is a fictional thing, but thats not the one im talking about, Atlantis is in Nassue (Bahamas) its this huge hotel, its awsome, it was one of the best vactions i ever went on, and they have a huge casino also, if you ever want a nice vacation that has ALOT to do, check it out, but it is kinda pricey, my parents won it as a trip for a company they sell in there store, so thats the only way i got to go, i would have never went if it wasnt for that

ya alot of people take cruises to the isand, and go to atlantis for dinner or something, its that fun, they have water slides and stuff, and shops, and a bunch of fun stuff, i recomend it

the waiting room was more of like a couch at the front entrance.

my parents were really pissed. My dad sat at the bar and my mom just tried to calm me down by talking to me about wakeboarding. it was funny. i was so angry. if there's 1 thing I really can't stand its being discriminated of because of my age. Every time the bartender came by i'd mumble something about him and how he was an uptight ass. the guy tried to talk to my dad about wakeboarding but my dad ignored him.

well i think the bartender had the right to throw you out of the bar area since it was a bar area---it would be different if you were in the resturant area but u weren't

Well, if it was such a big deal to you, why didn't you just threaten to take your business elsewhere. The guy was just doing his job, I think, you should be mad at the management instead.
