hey, im gonna be building a slider, and i was thinking of making it out of wood, so it looks fancy, or something. (im just looking for an excuse to bend wood). does anyone know how splippery wet wood is, or if this is a really bad idea?

ive got a wood slider.. its just a flat 2x8x20 and it works fine, it was too easy on a wakeboard so i just hit it with my skate, its a blast. and just wet the wood down before u hit it and its easy u wont have any problems

cool, thanks. and does anybody know what a good angle is for the approach ramp? i was thinking two feet off the water, 24 ft long. does a 30 degree approach angle sound good?

yea actually that sounds really good... i made my first one way too steep prolly like a 60 deg angle and it was really hard to hit not to mention that i totally flew over the flat bar!

awesome, thanks dude. and does anyone know if there is a material less damaging to your board than PVC? or is that the best?

pvc does hardly nothimg to your board.Especilly the gray pvc.
