Welcome to wakeboarding!
You should "rent" (also called demo) boards before buying one. See which one you like the most. Don't limit yourself to a brand either!
Any more questions just ask |

Thanks burke!
But it seems to me that rental boards arent of a very good variety and concerning its condition.
Maybe i'll ask some ppl with their own boards whether i could try their board. |

Call around to a couple pro-shops. Find one that rents them and gives you credits toward a purchase. We have a shop in Austin that does this type of program. You pay $20/day to rent a board, and they have 1 of each of their boards available. The cool thing is, that $20 goes towards the purchase of any gear.
After a few months I had enough credits to get my bindings with no additional cash AND I knew the exact board I wanted and size I needed.
If you're just learning, I'd hold off on buying a board. Wait until you learn to pop. You want to make sure you get a board you're comfortable getting a good pop with... (not just "big air" but feeling in control before and after the jump) |

.......ah you can't really go wrong with a good beginner - intermediate. To me that's less hassle than going out to demo. But then again.....I know demo is the way if possible. I'm just lazy. _________________ Good Beer, Good Cheer! |
