Another What Board should I get Thread.

Yesterday I went out on my friends Malibu and tried wakeboarding for the first time. I got up first try and rode around for 5 min and tried ollieing (fell). Next I went in and out of the wake and tried jumping it and fell. Lastly I landed a w2w jump and then another one with a method. Everyone said I was a natural. I didn't even expect to get up. Anyways, I need to get my own board and start riding. I am looking for Hyperlite mostly. The board was a 2002 Premier with Parks bindings. Also I need to know what length will be good. I am 6'2 170lbs.

Why not get a premier with parks bindings? If you progressed that fast then man.. go with what you were riding. Probably a 138-142 cm board

you might want to look at the premier 141 with the collevtive development vs01 bindings

If you liked that setup, you could got with the same thing, although the Parks bindings are pretty expensive. The Split or Highback bindings might work well for you.

For length you should go with a 138-142 cm range. I'm the same height as you but heavier and I ride a 141 or 142.

holy crap on the first day? it took me a week to go w2w. i suggest 138-142. I have a hyperlite and they are pretty good
