|
|
| I've narrowed it down to the Hyperlite Motive 140 and the Liquid Force Substance 142. Any opinions on these two boards? Also, i really liked my friend's 2003 Exo bindings, would it be weird to put these on a Hyperlite board? I'm just not sure i'd like the Hyperlite splits. Is that even possible or recommended to mesh brands? Thanks for any advice you guys can give. |

| Have you riden either of those boards? If you haven't I'd highly recomend riding them before buying. They are both great boards though. I'm personally more of an LF fan. I know plenty of people that mix bindings and boards. Don't feel like you have to have the same manufacture for both. Basically it all comes down to what you are most comfortable with. |

| Sooner03, I've heard great things about the Motive and Substance; so I don't think you could go wrong with either. I'd demo them first if you could. About the mixing of the boards and bindings; it's perfectly alright. You can mix and match almost any brand. |

Yes, you need to demp both. Alternatively, the motive I believe is better suited for a beginner which might be better for you. _________________ Check out https://www.facebook.com/darcizzleoffshore |

| Thanks guys. I think i'm going to go with the motive. I didnt realize that the substance was for a more experienced rider. I'll see if i can find a dealer around town that i can demo one. |

My two cents are for the Motive from what I've been researching. _________________ Good Beer, Good Cheer! |

yeah me too. I have a brand new 2004 motive and it is an all around a good board. The Split bindings are fine. Even if you dont want the splits, i wouldnt be worried about meshing brands _________________ show_boy08 |
