I just want to see if i got this Strait
Tantrum: backwards cartwhell
Backroll: backflip
Which should i try first, i don't no if this helps but i can do a backflip on a trampoline. Also which side would each be easier to try from, like cutting in heelside or toeside. And Finally would it help if i tried the flip off of my wakeskate first?

You got it mixed up:

Tantrum: Backflip
Backroll: Backwards Cartwheel

Everybody has different opinions on what is easier. A backroll is easy for me and I can't even get around on a tantrum. I would think that since you could do a backflip on a trampoline a tantrum would be a bit easier. For your first time, cut in heelside.

Its all upto the rider what they try first, I think backrolls are easier then tantrums.

danbrett, Yea I know how you feel. 1st few tries : Getting over being upside down at 20+ mph. 2nd few tries : Not scared, but getting rocked a bit with hard falls. 3rd few tries : Landing on board from here just gotta hold on a pull away.

yeah dude... a lot of my friends do it, but i'm better than all of them (they got no cojones) so i end up spending too much time on teaching than learning

yeh i am learning a back roll but my hiehgt isn't very good so i compensate by rotationg way too fast so when i land on the board it still has the momentum and slips out from under me also i keep landing with my knees bent.

i know how you guys feel trying to go invert and then eating it. almost took me 2 months and a camp to be comfortable with it. But even when your good, it still sucks when you fall.
