fat seat option

Last year I saw a fat seat that had a 3rd inlet. is this common on this product now or was his just weird.

I have two fat seats, one with water inlets only on the armrests, and one with an inlet on the back/bottom right side as you are facing it. I have it plumbed into my ballast system, it is much easier to fill and drain than the original.

How are the fat seats? looks? weight? are they a comfortable seat? looking for weight in a 00' centurion direct drive. is a fat seat a good option?

I asked this same question a long time ago in another forum and nobody answered me. I wanted to know if they were slippery when you stepped on them.

Dry are they not slippery, but if they are wet they are slippery

they do make a nice seat but i wouldnt sit on it much. i try not to step on it because i think that and me over filling it made it leak. lol over all i really like them and it makes a world of difference for my boat. as for the centruion i have no clue how it would do. But it wouldnt hurt the wake. if its to much weight just take some water out.

the centurion has a small flip up trunk in at the very back. I would much rather add weight, with out losing space or apperance. I don't really like the way the fat seat looks. i think the biggest sac i can fit in that trunk is about 375 pds. A tube sac. is that much weight worth the time, effort, and money. I always have three or four guys in the boat when i ride anyway. I am new to inboard boats, so any info about ballast wake enhancement would be great. thanks

i would say yes any weight is going to help your wake and if you have 4 guys with you all the time that perfect but dont forget that some weight up front will help as well. i dont know anything about your type of boat but some weight is better than no wieght. just experiment with weight to see what works best for you. Not everyone needs a super huge wake to go big.
