I had my best riding ever this week. I landed my first W2W jump, olie 180, and switch olie 180.
As soon as I get the video posted I would like some feedback on what I need to improve on my jump. I have never had a lesson, I just taught myself.

I got to sit in a boat attached to a truck with a blownout lift-pump and wait 4 hours for a tow truck and get no runs in. It's okay though, I got a real good buzz going that night! Razz

I taught myself everything i know, no lessons or anything. I do broll, scarecrow, tantrum, r2r and so on. Its a lot better when you can say you learned it all on your own Smile Better bragging rights hehe.

Okay for the jump lets see
1st off, thats some nice music in the background there lol.
Your jump looked pretty nice, you might want to extend your legs some, but other than that i think it looked pretty clean

What does "learned it on your own" mean? You didn't have help on the boat? or you didn't read articles on how to do it? Did you not use a spotter while you're back there?

now that I have watched the video a few times I can see that I need to improve on standing tall.
and it wasn't my boat so I couldn't stop them from listening to WGAY the entire ride.

Yea the basics like jumping w2w and grabs. I don't think it would be natural for me without being told that I could do it to do a backroll. Good jump, I would suggest edging mroe if you want to get more air. You'll have more control (so long as you keep that handle in) and your jumps will be higher and farther. Sweet weekend tho.

Doing a lot of 360's and side grinds with the Broadcast... that was fun as hell..
I'm working on being able to do the 360's with out the rope and keep on the wave.... I like to slash that shizzle!

Got a 30 foot rave slider on the way... that will be fun.... last one produced out of the factory before they stopped production, low money deal....

Well, besides the Backrolls, Scarecrows, 3's and 5's, etc... I find myself doing every time I ride and not learning anything new, I finally decided to add some style to my BS 180's.
I started learning some new grabs on my HS BS 180's. Pretty sick trying all sorts of different grabs and seeing how long and how far I could poke it out before spinning backside. Oh, and hit a HUGE tail grab BS 180 off the D-up. Great weekend.

taught my bro how to do a roll to revert, landed my stock tricks, (back rolls, tannys, scarecrows, raleys, etc) and got my ts b-roll dialed in. It was a great day Mr. Green

My 30 foot Rave slider is in, this will be a great addition to our camp (AWC).
Not to mention the new all Black 04 Team Edition my partner just pulled in.

I can't wait to hit that slider, I'm going to leave work early today just to go bust it up...

I'll fill you in on the beating I take... I'm fairly proficient doing rails on a snowboard so I hope it just comes as second nature.
I'll be busting BS off it in no time, I hope.

Great weekend!

I got to go out everyday the last 3 days, and the 2nd day was my first behind a boat (instead of a jet ski). By the 3rd day i was doin w2w 180's, and w2w grabs. I also tried a 360 but i was using my friends board and I'm used to mine so i can't get consistant pop on his but anyway i tried a HS FS 360, and i got about 270 then buttered the rest around and dropped the rope, but i didn't fall and now i'll b working on those. I also got some nice butter slides and 180 ollies. It was a great weekend. Very Happy

My boat broke half way through the weekend, but:
I considerably increased the height and distance of my 3's - pushed 'em way out into the flats, instead of w2w
Started trying raleys, but they're pretty weak so far. I'm too chicken to fully extend my body. I'll get it though.
Still can't hold on to any inverts. I can land a pretty ugly w2w mexi roll, but can't ride off with the rope. I always let go for some reason. I don't think god intended for my body to ever be inverted on anything. I look so lame when I try. It's like watching Elaine (from Seinfeld) dance.
My 3's are totally dialed from both wakes though - so I'm stoked. I'm starting to do a few grabs on my ts 180s now too (indy, tindy and tail). Still can't grab the 3's.
