Is it bad that I feel more comfortable doing a heelside jump rather than a toeside jump. I did my first heelside wake 2 wake this weekend, but I don't even feel comfortable to even attempt a small jump on my toeside.

Toeside takes cahonas for the first try. Go for it and keep your eyes on the horizon ahead of you so that you don't kill youself. Also don't weight your backfoot too much like me or you play the slip and slide game.
