I am having trouble coming back into the wake to make a jump I think that I am pulling to hard on the rope, because I'm getting to much slack which in return slows me down right at the wake. I have a spectra rope and going about 21 mph. What is the best technique to getting the max speed possible going into the wake and at what angle should my board hit the wake.

Cut out and wait until the boat starts pulling you back in then start edging slowly back into the wake applying more edge a little at a time. You shouldn't reach your full edge untill you are at the wake.Think about turning up the volum a little at a time.

after ytou cut all the way out on your toes/heels(depending on whether your doing a ts or hs wake jump) you want to flatten out and get off edge and let the boat start to pull you in towards the wake then start edging hard. this should help keep the line tight all through your edge.

so in essence sort of like a pendulum? You're going to have the most speed/tightest rope (or at least you want this) when you're hitting the wake?

reverseswim, yes basically.

Wait till the boat pulls you back to the wake to start the progressive edge

Yep and when you get to the wake stay on edge but straighten your legs so you don't absorb the power you have built. If it helps try imagining that you are pushing your board into the water. But remember stay on your edge.
