Lines? What should I get?

My question is not what type of line to get - it's 'where should I get it?' I see on eBay a 'Bullet Ski Lines' rope for $25 with closed cell neoprene core, spectra fusion jacket, 4500 lb break, 4mm line. You can find similar deals all over. Should I be careful buying 'off-brand' gear, or is there really no difference between this eBay special and, say an Accurate Jacket Series Mainline or a Straight Line Blazer Line?

You want a spectra core. This will be the true non stretch. I think that's right. I'm looking into rope as well and learning mroe than I ever wanted to know. You want a spectra core rope and whatever feautres you want like a jacket that won't tangle or something of that sort.

Yeah, I may not have been clear, it's the CORE of the rope that needs to be Spectra, whatever the covering is isn't really important...

Yes definitely spectra .Look at accurate and hardline .I an accurate one...
