I just started wakeboarding and am able to get up and control myself right now. I am using my friend AirProfile 143cm board and it has some crappy bindings on it. I found a place where I can get a Hydroslide Carbon 12 for really cheap and i was wondering if it was worth it. Also I am 5'10" and 155lbs, the board is 138cm long. I know that is probably fine for me but my little sister is 5'1" and probably 75-80lbs, will she be able to use it too. So basically
1. Is it a decent board and worth buying?
2. Is it a good size for me?
3. Will my little sis be ok on it?
Thanks for your time

-=OUTRAGE=-, i can't really help you with everything (don't have experience with those boards) but I can tell you this: yes, you're sister will be able to use it. It might not fit her the best; but she'll be able to use it and get the basics down.
Sorry I couldn't answer more questions! |

1. Not really, I wouldn't recommend a Hydroslide board at all. I'd stick with Hyperlite, Liquid Force, DoubleUP, Blindside, O'brien, Jobe, Gator Boards.
2. A 138 cm is a good size for you. It'll be too big for your sister, but unless your sister is planning to really do tricks, it won't matter much. _________________ Pat McCarthy |

I have some friends that are about the same size as your sister, that ride my 135, and my little brother (8 yrs old, probably 4'2" got up on it too) so it should be fine. _________________ Keep Austin Weird |

How much do you plan on spending? Check some online dealers as they can have some pretty good deals on beginner package deals. At buywake.com you can hook up a package deal for around 4 hundo plus shipping. _________________ I once saw a fork lift pick up a pallet of forks, it was way too literal for me. |

thats because it is not a very good board to start with, and it sounds like the bindings aren't either due to the price _________________ Keep Austin Weird |

| that would be a good one. just look around the internet at different online wake shops for different good packages. another one you might want to look at is the hyperlite motive and split package. i dont know how its priced but im sure you could get some kinda deal or find last years or an old one. |

good size, wrong manufacture. Go with Hyperlite, or liquid force _________________ Im sick of seeing these posers with 50k boats who can't even wakeboard. |
