Hello. Was wondering if anyone knew about 2003 wakeboards from HO Sports. Are they quality boards or are they cheap? Also, would a 135 be too small of a board for me, right now I ride a 140 Hyperlite and am 6' tall and 175 lbs. Thanks.

HO and Hyperlite are the same corporation. HO markets the general duty boards. At 135 is on the small side for you. I would recommed a 137-142 board. Demo if you can. If you want Blindside or Double Up, let me know.

pcm2a, ho i owned by herb obrien i believe not obrien as in obrien wakeboards.

pretty much what boarditup said ho, jobe, and hyperlite are all pretty much the same company its just as far as wakeboards go hyperlite is highest quality, jobe is a little bit less and ho is less than that. most of the boards that ho has are just old models that hyperlite doesnt use anymore. the one that you were lokking at looks similar to the premier/era type ride and those come in a 141/140 size so you may wanna look into those.

Actually Herb O'brien started O'brien way back in the day, and lost it after he went to jail on drug charges. He then started HO Sports, which Hyperlite started out of. Currently he doesn't technically own HO/Hyperlite anymore either. A company called Kent Sports owns HO/Hyperlite, O'brien, Liquid Force, and CWB I believe. They all operate independently, but they are owned under the same corporation.

So, the independent companies in the game right now are Blindside and DoubleUP owned by Triton, and Gator Boards.

jeez i didn't realize that all of those companies were owned by the same parent company. For the people on here who don't like hyperlite, you're not doing any better by buying Liquid Force or CWB gear!
