Can someone please Illustrate this turn? I have heard it described but if someone can illustrate it that would be cool. Just do it in paint or whatever is easiest

| There is a really good illustration of it in Wake Boarding Mag(July issue). I'll scan it and put it up on here later today.

I'm certainly no expert but whenever I've seen double-ups driven, they've been more like this picture. It seems to make more sense if you want to go back in the direction from which you came. I've also heard that you want to hit it at less than 90 degrees.

| I tend to like the one that Salmon Tacos drew. It might be a boat (or me) thing but when I get one "T'd" up I tend to land in a trough. These old bones don't like that.

Either way, I think it's better to alter your course at the beginning than to do it at the end. Whether I drew the paths at 90 degrees or 70 degrees, the point is that you bend your path at the beginning so you can staighten out and head right back down your line instead of straightening out perpendicular to your line (sending rollers down your line) and rushing to turn right after the double up.

| There was a good article in WBM last month that explained the double-up and they drew it the same as Salmon Tacos did.

| Yeah I like them at a perfect 90 degrees, but like you said you should tweak your initial path so you can continue down your original line. If you have two boats working the area you can throw them for each other when driving towards eah other. They do that at the Wakeboard Camp and it works well.

I like the second picture more, because you want to hit your rollers at 90 degrees, which won't be directly parallel to your boat path.
