My hubby has a CWB board. He likes the action but the board is noticably heaver then other manufacturers boards that are equal in size. We talked to a CWB dealer and he agreed. CWB boards are suppose to be "unbreakable" and are made with a different material than like HPL or LF which causes them to be heavier. See if you can demo one at a local board shop.

Sorry, I don't know much about either of these boards. I agree, demo if you can.

girlboardr, i was looking into the nyx 135, too. Im still in the early stages of boarding and the whole 3-stage rocker thing intimidates me! I would imagine its hard to tell someone else whether a board is good or not, since everyone has their own style and preference of riding. But what do i know, im just a newbie, right? Wink

I have a 135 era which is the boy version of the NYX 135-they are the exact same board. I demo'd the CWB board and I hated it, I liked nothing about it. THe NYX on the other hand is friggin awesome. I have never ridden a board I like so much. The tracking is awesome, the pop is good, adn the landings are very soft. I ride finless and it still tracks like a champ. With the fins it's even better, harder to do surface tricks but still good. I think you'd be happy with the ERA 135 OR NYX 135...they are cheap on ebay!!! Mr. Green

My friend has the NYX 135 and she loves it. She wanted soemthing similar to the board I ride (I ride a 03 Premier 135). Now if only I can get her to ride that thing finless.....

Just remember, the only thing that makes a board a "boy board" or a "girl board" is it's graphics.
