Bindings and board

I was just makin sure any bindings can go on anyboard right? Cause my bro was tryin to tell me the ones i have now (which are like sandals but a little bit better) won't go on my CWB area 51

Run as fast as you can from sandal bindings. They are the devil. So many twisted ankle possibilities. Might as well get a wakeskate. But any binding can generally go on any board. I just think your board is smart and realizes it shouldn't accept sandal bindings.

viva la mike, they are basically like a base plate with two straps on them. no overlays.
