I've only tried them like once or twice and never in the same set, always like every once in a great while.

Since my boat has a small wake i want to learn them and do them efficiently. What I was wondering is if i can learn it in a weekend or if it will take more like 2 or 3 weekends?

If i can do it in 1 weekend for sure then im going to get them down this weekend. Thanks urrbody Rolling Eyes

Before i started workin on Double ups i worked on takin my w2w jumps huge so i would know what to expect on the landing. I would say if u can take your w2w jumps as big as ur wake is gonna let you(u said it was small) and you stick them all the time it should be no problem on hittin Double ups. You wont hit it right if your driver dosnt know what hes doin. Theres an article in the new Wakeboarding magazine showing how to drive them perfect. As long as ur driver knows what hes doin and if you can take big landings you should learn it easily in one weekend.

There are two ways to get heaps of double ups into a set. One way is if you have a limited run, to drive them when you turn around. The other way is to commit all or half a set to them. If you do 4-5 in a single set, you will find you get the timing a lot better and will probably get a couple of them. You should be able to get the timing pretty consistent in one or two sets.

It is important your driver drives them consitently. It doesnt matter so much if they are bad when learning, as long as they are consistent, as this will give you a chance to time them better. If they drive different size loops and cross the rollers at different angles all the time, it will be harder.

Also dont do them if there are other boaters around, it just makes rollers go everywhere and can be dangerous as they may not know where you are driving. Find a nice quiet spot where you are by yourself.

Just start cutting in between the first and second, as you get closer you will want to go for the third roller as it is the biggest. If you get it figured out right you can take your ticks very vertical and go really high and still land w2w. Sometimes you just charge it and try and land as far out in the flats as possible.
