Got up on the skate finally!

We just got back from a really good morning on the water. The water was perfect! My wakeboard run was ok...still not getting my timing right and absorbing a lot of it. I'll get it one of these days...baby stepping it in the right direction I suppose. Anyway after handing off my board on a whim decided to try wakeskating again (second time ever). First time I tried it had the hardest time getting up and never really did and was really frustrated by it. I got up on the first pull today and did pretty good! It's way more fun when you can actually get up Smile

By the end of my run was even getting little ballsy...tried to ollie and do a 180 (none of which were successful tho). Last fall was a bit scary...put my hands up and the corner of it bout got me in the face. Still....good times good times!

indywakechica, hey girl nice job! I just tried wakeskating this weekend! It was pretty fun - did a little surfing the wake, butterslides... it's a cool feeling! Tried a surface 180 and that pretty much ended my run right there! haha. I think I'll stick to wakeboarding for now though Wink

indywakechica, It's great! I started two weeks ago and I love the smoothness of it and the easy 180's and butterslides... I think it's easy to learn and good for stability on yer wakeboard, I'm riding left foot front and am very stiff with my right foot front, but getting used to it at the wakeskate helps me a lot on my wakeboard! Even though... I'll stick with wakeboarding Smile

Alright indywakechica!! That is great. Sounds like tons of fun. I need to try it again, too. Course first I need to put the fins on the board . . .

Jane - i agree with you on the smoothness... especially when buttersliding! It was a blast being able to pull it off my first (and only) time up! Very Happy

WHOO HOOOO! Indy! way to go. I can bring a wakeskate if you want when we go out that friday...I have a wakesurf board also.

Yeah sure bring it all...specially the wakesurf board. I've never done that and would like to try it...someone always posts these great vids of folks doing it and looks like fun Wink

None of the guys I ride with do that yet.

Oh yeah loving the tower...in fact I'm now a writer Smile
