Not sure about your set up m8 but if your struggling to get up coyuple of pointers:
Arms round knees and out straight. Keep really tucked up in a ball. Let the boat pull you, dont pull the boat. When the boat pulls you keep your legs tucked up and let the boat pull you up on to the board then stand up. DONT stand up untill your up on the water. Then relax an your back fin should catch and pull your back foot to the back.
Dont pull the boat and dont stand up untill your on the water.

Good Luck m8 Wink

ya, stay in a ball and just hold on, dont try tugging on the rope but make sure u hold on. some ppl get up when the boat slowly accelerates others get up when the boat accelerates fast, ure preference. oh ya once ure up keep more wieght on the back foot

all boards ride and feel different to every rider...you shoulda demoed before you dropped any kinda cash or at least talked to a rep with an ounce of knowledge for this sport...some ski shops are strickly ski oriented and dont know dick about wakeboarding....but i learned to ride on a hyperlite and i thought it was just hard for me to get up b.c i have never skiied or anything before i wakeboarded...but then after i learned to ride the hyperlite motive...i bought a liquid force, something or other, the lowest model they make and i was popping up every single time...some people get thrown all out of whack by whether or not it's a 3 stage or continous rocker...really i cant tell the difference cept that i struggled with the hyperlite and not the LF....let the boat do the work man...dont fight it...just relax and dont lose your temper, when we're teachin people to ride; as soon as they lose their temper we just go ahead and tell em to get back in the boat b.c it's really hard to relax when you're so frustrated...that's the way it was for me, b.c i thought b.c i couldnt get up had something to do with my athletic ability when in actuality, gettin up is the easiest and most painless part! Very Happy

"thebeef", the board will last you a few years and I hear those are some nice bindings so don't worry about your setup.

Getting up just takes practice. Watch other people if u can. How Micky described it is exactly what I do. Cept one thing; I try to keep my shorts down so they aren't ridding up my legs; it's the only cool thing to do Embarassed Rolling Eyes

Ok your set up sux because is LF... no its kool the great thing about wakeboarding is that it is all about how YOU feel... but to get up... i learned buy this... pretend that you are sitting in a chair.. and then someone wants to pull you up out of it...
it is really that simple... be sure not to FIGHT the boat... it will hurt your hands bad whne the rope is shot out of them.... but it will happen at least 60 billion times....

imagine sitting in a really small chair (for the leg position) and then arms straight. boat pulls you up, not vice versa
