Was wondering about boards and how much pop they have. I have a Hyperlite Vashon from the evolve series. Does anyone know how old this board is? It has one fin in front and one in back and it's length is 140. I am 6' and 180 pounds. I was thinking this board is too heavy since on the lake all I see are smaller boards. Reason I ask is I can clear the wake but do not get enough air,no "pop". I have read the instructionals and don't think the problem is technique. Thanks.

thats a pretty old board either 97(red) or 98 (blue). you may want to look into a new board the size is good for you but the newer boards have become more agressive with more kick and that sounds like what your looking for.
