1. if you turn sharp does the wedge get broken?

2. if you put the Scarpa barefoot plate onto the wedge does it function properly as a wakeboard hydrolic plate?

3. Would the wakesetter 21XTI with the scarpa plate + wedge be a good all rounder for slalom ski, wakeboard and barefoot?

1. I guess I would define sharp. It shouldn't but why would you want to turn sharp when you're boarding anyway unless you were in an emergency situation? It just chopps up your water. At boarding speeds it should not be a problem.

2. Can you do that? I thought they were mutually exclusive.

3. Don't know.

The Scarpa mounts to the wedge plate. You either get the wedge or the SSP not both at the same time.

What in the world is a Scarpa plate? Whatever it is, I'm pretty sure it doesn't go on a Malibu.

I was about to ask the same thing.

Does a barefoot plate create that pocket at 75 feet?

the wedge is solid and is not effected when you turn sharp. Being in the delta we have to make sharp turns all the time, and it's never effected the wedge

I stand corrected! I had never heard of a Scarpa, and I thought I was prettty familiar with Malibu's products.
