|
|
I'd like to preface this with the fact that I currently have a Blindside Stingray which has a continuous rocker.
Why would someone, if they knew the difference between these two, get a continuous rocker. 3 stage = more pop = better, right? I just wish I could afford a new board right now so I could get a 3 stage. Unfortunately I was uninformed when I purchased.
In general, I like my board, but I've ridden 3 stage boards and get more air with them.

3 Stage= More Pop but not always better!!! Depending on your wake and riding style a continuious rocker can be just as good. It is all personal preferance. Although from your riding experiences it seems as though you like the three stage more. Next time demo boards!!!

WRRide, not everyone has the opportunity to demo boards. Where I live there are not many shops that sell wakeboards around. None of them let you demo. So if you don't know someone with the board you want to try, you have to take the chance and buy without a demo. But I agree, if I had the chance, I would demo a bunch of boards before I bought one.

I still ride my old Murray continuous some times, it has a nice smooth flow to it and the pop is real consistent.... That is the biggest thing I have noticed between 3-stage and continuous rocker boards, the consistency of the pop is much better on a continuous, I think.
Like mentioned above 3-stage is not always better, it depends on a lot of factors.
wake pimp - I like the beatdown clip you got from the movie Office Space, I think?
I think it was that scene or the one when the same dude is in his car tryn' to RAP that made me laugh so fn' hard I almost pissed myself.
YOU NEED TO SHOW MORE FLAIR....LOL... funny stuff.

I love my Harris 3 stage, but I also love the LF trip continuous. I'm also looking forward to ridding the LF team eddition that is also continuous. I have found that i like a both, so I would not say that one is "better" overall.

continuous is better for smaller wakes. and also if u want a more reliable, consistant pop, then continuous is better. 3-stage isn't as good on small wakes. it's more explosive off larges ones though. it can mean more pop but not necessarily

I Have been riding a belmont for the last three years and at the end of this year I bought a premier and I love the three-stage. But one of my bros would not trade his belmont for the world!
