what length of rope do you guys normally use?

depending on the boat from 55-90 feet on an average boat with like 1000 lbs at 23-24mph 75 feet

70 feet, at 23-24 mph. However i have a Wakesetter LSV which is 23 feet, so the wake is considerably wider than a VLX (21 feet). On a VLX i ride at 75

I have a Mastercraft X9 with 1000 pounds in it, i ride at 65 feet. Evil or Very Mad Crazy Eyes

Go at your normal wakeboard speed with the normal ammt of weight that you use. Watch where the wake is at its highest point right before it curls over. That's where the wakeboarder should be. detach your rope from the pylon and let it drag behind the boat until it hits that point..voila..now you can hit it with the best of them.

good to make sure the rope doesnt stretch much or at all...accurate makes good ropes
