I love mine. No problems yet and it was the clear choice for my family after shopping the other brands (ride, space, gunwhale depth, wake versatility, local service). Be sure to look around and ride in everything before you decide; make the dealers earn your business.

Awesome boat, love everything about ours although we are selling it and buying a different brand not because of the boat but 100% because the service we recieved from the dealer's service department and everything they have done to us.

I just took delivery of my 22V two weekends ago, LOVE the boat. No problems in inital quality, pretty much the same reason as tball for going with Tige. For me it came down to the VLX and 22V, and the 22V had more space, and a much more comfortable bow area, and the price was really nice. My local Malibu dealer ( Nashville Inboard ) is charging WAY to much for his boats, so it was easy for my Tige dealer to put together a sweet deal. The dude wanted $33K for a cheesy little Sportster!

One point I kept in mind during my decision making process, most people fail to consider the time it takes to keep a boat looking clean. The Malibu had a sweet interior, but I'd seen a couple of used ones and all that extra vinyl, like in the pass through from the bow, dashboard, and the carpet in the gunwhale ect. starts looking dingy and is a real pain to clean on a continual basis. I much more prefer the exposed fiberglass in the cockpit area, much easier to maintain, wipe it down with some quick mist and your good to go.

Make sure you ride both and go with what you like best, but so far my Tige gets an A+ in initial quality.

Check out my gallery for some pics. :)

I love the 22V, Loads of storage, great ride/wake, and well built. This is my second new Tige', and I am just as happy with the second as I was with the first in 1993.

Ohh, I see. So I'm guessing you work for a dealer up there...? Seems like a lot of dealers ordered those colors. IMO, it would look good red/white/red also.

Wakeupdude The Tige pictured above by Lee has the sharkeye bow lights, in other words, what appear to be docking lights are actually the red/green lights. If you choose to have the docking light option, than you'll get the little, cute red/green light on the top of the bow.

Back in Black!

lee Back in Black is a head turner! Even the UPS guy stopped and talked to me about my hook-up the other day. People have constantly asked me about the boat at the dock every time I've been out, even the old men in the fishing boats check her out. Do me a favor, keep ordering the green boats so I'll have the only lady in black in town!

I understand why it is not listed as 'sold', have you had any calls about the all black?
