shift2255,
Where did you get the can mounting brackets from?

http://www.mcmaster.com

Search "Clamps" - they are under "vibration dampening/control clamps"

Nice cans.. Have you thought about using the polished AL clamps that Raul sells?

Maybe. Wink [/quote]

OK, my turn. Some of you guys have created your own speakers/light bars so it inspired me to do the same. Took my existing MB Quartz and disassembled them and mounted the clamps to the tower and the cans to the bottom of a 1"x2" piece of oval aluminum tubing that matches the tower tubing. I mounted three 55 watt halogen lights facing forward and two facing the rear. Then I ordered the rubber knobs from mcmaster.com and use those to secure the whole thing to the tower. Wired the speakers through the tower and installed quick connects, and am in the process of wiring up the lights, all I need is one more relay for the front three lights, then run the wires up the tower, and I'll be set. I can remove or install it in less than a minute, which is wonderful when leaving it a slip over the weekend. These pictures are from midway through, I have all the lights wired up and the quick connect on the end ready to wire to the tower now.
