I plan on going out this weekend (i live in Florida) and i want to try an invert. I can almost land a 360 behind my boat but i'm goin with a buddy and his boat is much better for wakeboarding. I was wondering what would be the easiest invert for me to try. Thanks

backrolls are way easy, just lean back when you hit the wake and let the board go out behind you a little. then you land.... easy as that.

my first invert was a TS backroll also, except off a kicker and on cable, but it was still the same trick, its a good first invert to learn

throw a tanny its the easiest invert ever. backrolls are very easy to over or underrotate unless you have a lot of air awareness. tantrums you can spot your landing and slow your rotation when needed a lot easier. but go with what feels right for YOU not what feels right for everyone else. that is the real way to go.

I think a lot of people learn the backroll first. Myself included. Unfortunately, for me it also the last invert i learned. I need to learn another one.

bluefish, inverts and spins are completely different and learning one doesn't necessarily help you with the other. I know people that can do inverts but can't do spins and I know people who can do spins but not inverts. Of course I'm different than most and can do both equally well, which is to say that I can't do either worth a crap! My first invert (landed) was a scarecrow, but I've done it once out of like 100 tries. At least I have fun...

I had my best luck learning the heel side back-rool, and then I learned the toe side front-roll! Get pumped and stick-it!

Try a backroll.... It's easy, and the crashes don't hurt. Until you learn how to crash on a 360 they hurt really bad.

Yeah I am closest to a backroll and it looks like the easier than a tantrum. But this guy I know said the raley's are the easiest, I didnt think so but he said there is nothing to it, except the crashes.

1 -- concussion, 1 -- black eye, last year on 2 trys at the raley. I don't doubt that it is easy once you learn it. It is just falling 10 times to learn it can really put you out of commission

Backroll was my first- it took about 15 tries, but I was close quickly. My next invert was a tantrum and I landed it on the 5th try. I don't think this is indicative of a tantrum being any easier because I think my riding had improved alot in between.
