I read teh HS 360 on the trick tips section and it says to pass the rope and not to let go until you have grabed the rope with the other hand. I have done 10 360s now and landing them fine but for some reason I can't think to grab the rope. Its pretty stupid but I just need more practice. Embarassed

get more slack in the line before u pass the handle, it will make it alot easier, i find that pulling my arms to my chest a bit before i hit the wake then passing the handle with somewhat extended arms is a good way to get slack. I just usually let go with the one hand when it feels right, sometimes i have no hand on the rope for a split second

I would suggest not pulling in the handle before hitting the wake. If you do that, you won't be able to get a good pull in the air. What I'd suggest is hitting the wake, popping, then when you're in the air pull the handle to your rear hip with BOTH HANDS. This will initiate the spin for you, and get the handle in close to your body. Just try to keep the handle above your bum with your rear hand, and feel for it with your lead hand. Don't let go until you have passed it, and you should be fine.

pop first, yank to your butt, grab at your butt, the lower the pass the easier.

crazyjd525, pass the handle next time, I bet you wont land fine!! LOL...

It really takes a hard pull with both hands to start the spin the first few times (mainly cuz most people pull early or right off the wake). Once you have it it's feels like a quick little tug but the first few times exaggerate it!

Once I started to make myself pass the handle like you mention "not letting go until I had it in the other hand" I landed backwards a few times (with handle in hand). It hurt like hell but after 3 or 4 of those I have never landed like that again and pull the 3 with ease.

The entire trick is passing the handle into the other hand. The POP and Pull part should be automatic.

To make the pull even easier do it at the peak of the jump when you have the least amount of resistance, I like to hold and think 180 grab for as long as I can and then at the peak stuff the handle down near my a$$ for the pass. I'm not a believer in the generating slack method, you can get off axis and the landings are hard on the arms that way. IMO keeping consistant tension on the line is the best approach for stayn' on axis and landing smooth and on edge. If you are getting the handle ripped out of your hand all the time try keeping line tension through-out the entire trick.

Hey guys thanks for the advice! Thats what keeps this site rockin! I've only got to go riding once and it was behind a jet ski but I finnally started doing surface 360s and I think once I get behind a boat again I'll be a little better at passing the rope! I will try everyones advise and see what works for me! Gotta Love It!
