also remember that you are 13, your should be getting a growth spurt pretty quick, so it would be best to get a board that you can grow into, without growing out of too quick. I would say a 133-138, depending on how big you think you'll get (ie tall parents/siblings etc.) _________________

Yeah, your board is much too big for you. You'd be better off on something in the 133-137 range as jryoung suggested. _________________ Pat McCarthy |

that board is pretty massive for you. im 5'11 165 pounds and i ride a 138. i think the size of the board could be a reason why your having trouble with your wake to wake jumps. like someone said earlier though, you probably are about to go through a growth spurt so either buy a new board that will fit you for a long time or maybe you could wait until you grow (maybe not the best idea) i dont know the decision is up to you but i think its holding you back. good luck |

| Wait until you stop growing? Screw that!!! Buy a board every year!!! I know that sounds conceited but it's the best way to keep up with your progression. When I was in high school I'd get a new board every two years, same with bindings. The key is to get new bindings on year & the next new board, so you always ahve a new something. Don't try & buy a board that you can grow into because hell that board might be a 140, which is obviously not working. Go with a 130-134 for now. It should hold you for awhile. |

| In my opinion screw buying new at your age, I did it and its a waste of money. There are plenty of people who sell used stuff at really really good prices. Who cares if its used! That way if you get a 133 and grow out of it soon you aren't SOL b/c you just spent $350 on a new board that you can only sell used for about $225. And if you do want new go w/ blems or last years stuff. Preferably blems in last years stuff, save the money. Check the classifieds ads, there is good stuff on there. I'm in the process of selling my LF Trip 133.5 right now, if it falls through I'll PM you and see if ur interested. |

| i ride a trip 133 and I am 5' 8" and 127 lbs. It is perfect for me but i can grow plenty into it. until last month i was riding a 125 which gave me NO pop. The good thing is when I out grow my trip 133 i have a '03 substance 141 that my parents bought (thinking they would try it) waiting for me. I rode it and it is HUGE. I cant see how u can move one of those things! It took like all the strength in my body to edge into the wake and I was exhausted after 10 mins. Props to getting that far with a 140 and being 13. |
