they are just like riding a snowboard but harder. I had never been Snowboarding before but i had learned to ride a freeboard so i didn''t even have to learn how to snowboard i already could. _________________ www.NORTHSHOREBOARDSHOP.com

| It's quite like snowboarding, and way better than longboarding, I own one and will never touch a longboard again. They can work up some pretty thick road rash though. |

| one of my friends has a freeboard and he loves it. another has a tierany board and i think i like it better. it takes a little while to get used to but it's really fun. however i have to say that regular longboards are better. there's just more stuff you can do on them. a couple of my friends can do all the powerslides and it's wasome just watching them ride in a ditch. |

| no we have a concrete drainage ditch that we skate in. it shaped like a v with a flat at the bottom. it goes straight ahs a bend and then goes into a bowl kinda thing at the end. |

I want to try the carveboards. Looks like it'd be more surf like. _________________ If I agreed with you we would both be wrong. |
