Pics from today's session (56k warning!)

Here are a few pics from today's session after school. It was choppy until we had to leave but we still got some pics.

I have no clue why my arm is doing that on the three! Embarassed

Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to post questions or comments!

I don't have any tips or suggestions but just a comment on the pics. First off your boat looks good and the jumps look pretty cool. I like the 2nd jump (3rd pic)...

Haha, Levi. I was looking at the pictures and thinking "d*mn that spot looks familiar, where in the world is that??", then I looked up and saw your from Stanwood. We have a cabin at Indian Beach out on Camano. I didn't think there was much of a riding scene up in the Stanwood/Camano area. I was just up there last weekend, and we drove around the island for like four hours and didn't see anything wake related. It looks like Big Lake has some pretty good water though.

Looks great... question, what camera do you use? We tried many times to make some cool action pics but its difficult with choppy water etc... any tips?

Looks like you're probably spinning too early off the wake. If you wait for your pop and pull the handle with two hands (as suggested above), that should get you on axis and on track.

Or, maybe you're just checking your antiperspirant. Very Happy

I've had people tell me that "smelling your pit" is key to landing b/s 180's. Don't think it works for f/s 3's, though!

Thanks for all the positive comments guys! I'm going out today to put some of those tips to use. Oh, BTW the camera is an old Canon G1 3.3 mp.

Levi_S, were your shots taken on Big Lake? It almost looks like Lake Sammish or Lake Whatcom up in Bellingham.

looks like it was a good day... ya just try to keep the handle close to your hips and think about bringin the handle to your rear hip with both hands and that should help
