i'm just not a big fan of hyperlite products...don't care for most of the graphics for one. i also think they are an example of the burton syndrome meaning that although they make good products they are extremely overpriced and overhyped. basically for as much as you pay for their products you don't get a product that matches the price...just my opinion though

...the funny thing about "hyperheavy" is that the catalyst is considerably lighter than a LF/cassette/484 concave, and many people prefer the heaver wooden concave to the lighter "hyperheavy" skate...

looks to me like someone crapped all over volcom wakeboarder's sunday dinner. calm down bro.

i am curious to know why you liked the catalyst more than the LF/cassette/484 concave, assuming it was the concave that you rode...

scott a,

I for one can say that the byerly 107 sucks. The only thing i use it for is teaching my girlfriend and my friends girlfirend how to wakeskate. Other than that it makes a pretty good decoration in my room.

For some weird reason I still want the 2004 Byerley 107, I have the HyperLite Brodcast (wake surf) and I suppose the Byerley is about the same, as in smaller but like a sakteboard, Same grip matireal and same foam core which i like all of these...Can anyone tell me what to do now? Like still what company?

JankyZep, buy whatever you want, just know that your broadcast (wakesurfer) is NOTHING like a byerly (wakeskate).

JankyZep, Dude, you've just gotta make the decision for yourself. Dont let anyone tell you what's good and whats bad. Go out, demo as many boards as you can, and decide based on your own experiences, not what other people tell you.
