Are guys really doing blunts? I've yet to see that.

It WILL happen as soon as the pros (or some1) starts kickflipping (in the flats) like on a skateboard and has the balls to try it. The Cassette 3-ds are the only board that I think might work. It has the lip on the edge where the grip tape ends. Maybe Thomas planned the 3-d Cassette's to be like this for a reason...

What does that have to do with anything? Darkslides are done on the middle of the board, you should be able to do it on any wakeskate.

Wakeskater42 is right, if you could 1/2 flip on a 1/2 flip off the only deck that wouldn't hang up are the Cassette 3D's. The way they are milled leaves the raw wood , no tape, on the mid rail.

Well, first off, I misunderstood what he was saying. I thought when he said on the edge of the board he meant the nose or tail, not the rail edges.
Second, you shouldn't hafta leave a non-grip area on your deck for darkslides. If skaters can darkslide a waxed cement ledge you should be able to do it on a PVC slider.

Not at 20 mph thought. What don't you get Jester, you really need to wakeskate more so you have applied knowledge. I have slid my skate alot and it is hard to keep it under you when your feet are on the gripped side an you are only just sliding wood to PVC not griptape to PVC adn no grip to your feet.

| pvc is soft. it'll dig into the pvc and slow you down. grip tape lides on concretebetter cause concrete is harder and there for it slides over it better. grip tape wouldn't go good with pvc.

that was faked, there was a whole thread about it. It goes right up there with putting a handle on your deck so you can do indy backrolls

| I would seriously like to see that darkbutterslide. I bet it's possible, you'd just have to lean back on the board more than a normal butterslide. The hard part would be getting the board right side up before the nose dipped into the water. Man, I need to buy a wakeskate, I'd love to try this stuff.

i remembered seeing that pick in the skate forum a while back. i was just about to post it but rybasset beat me to it. sick picture but too bad its not real ha.
darkslide butterslide, that sounds crazy but i bet it would be insanely hard. what if someone did a casper on the water and just leaned way back hahaha wow probably not possible. casper on a low deck would be very sick tho.

| someone will probably pull the grip tape off in the middle just so it dosent catch. but with concave boards the grip tape probably wont touch the pvc

Nah I'd say darkslide before casper. Casper slides are way harder to get the timing for then dark slides. All you do for darkslide is catch the board half way, its that easy. Sliding along and flipping out is alot harder though.

well, believe me, darkslides are definatly possible, ive been kickflipping in and out off lipslides, (havent put them togeather yet ) but sometime soon i will grip parts of the bottom of my board and go out and stick one. it has to be done on a flat deck where the water doesnt grip the edges. i think its possible, and might be done this summer.

i dont think people will be able to do TRUE caspers unless its on a dock or some sort of flat surface because i dont think theres enough surface area on the back of the deck to ride without your front foot dragging through the water. ive deffinitely dark butterslides willbe the first. the hardest part will be the upside down half flip out.
ryan lemons, Kickflip in and out of lipslides. thats sick dude keep up the good work. i would think that it would be possible on a concave because there was a pic of someone riding their deck upside down on the lip and i thought for sure the deck was concave.

ryan lemons, kickflipping in and out of lips thats tight. saw the video of you flipping out but not of flipping in. sounds pretty tight. if you ever get the darkslide this summer, post a video that would be sick.
The Headless Chicken, thats insane. some riding there deck upside down on the lip??? i was joking around saying someone should try a casper on the water but it doesnt seem like a casper or darkslide would be possible. to ride with ur deck upside down it seems like ud have to be goin pretty fast and lean back a ton considering the deck would be curved the wrong way. anyway, id like to see it done.
