| That's what I was doing last time I was down at OWC learning how to do them. The guy on rope duty suggested I should keep my front foot back a bit more and then really concentrate on stomping the landing. I kept my back foot closer to the toe side of the board while riding and then just kicked the board around. Seemed to help, cause I stomped it the next time around. |

wkbrdmdw,
I havn't learned anything w2w. The size of my wake really doesnt allow for to many w2w things. |

| vance, yea im ridin behind an old ski centurion not much of a monstrous wake but daniel lovett rode behind a pontoon boat.. but i would like to try more than just a w2w jump. ive tried to float the 180 and not grab it but its real hard, i really like the 180 body varial w2w i think thats what its called and i think it would be easier than the 180. |

vance,
Actually, I'm pretty sure I was, but now you have me questioning myself. I haven't ridden since Oct of last year, but I think I was throwing my board around the front side of my body. Damn, I'm so confused now. I need to get back on the water, but that isn't going to happen for a while yet. Damn house remodeling! |

| try ollying first and then kick it, don't just spin it.. really concentrate on ollying first.. that will help you with 360 shuvits too.. also try it in the trough of the wake not in the flats.. it's much easier there |

| why are so many people trying frontside shove-its first? I thought backside spins on shove-its were way easier. Thats what I do on a skateboard anyway. |

yeah bs you are spinning the opposite way you are looking when you are spotting your landing so there is alot more body movements going on when you do it....the less the better _________________ Visit www.myspace.com/alecperkins to listen to my music! |
