I wouldn't ride hyperlite because I dont like any of their boards or bindings. Im not a huge fan of their image either. Same thing with nike, if they came into the wakeboard world, I wouldnt spend one penny on their gear, they are just in it to make some $, they wouldn't know the first thing about wakeboarding if it hit them in the face. Its the same thing they are doing to the hockey gear industry too, their skates are terrible, sticks are terrible, etc etc. And on top of that you pay a bazillion dollars just for some "swoosh" on the board. Like come on here....how shallow can you get.
Not to bash hyperlite or anything, I have nothing against them, I would just rather ride other brand of equip, and no the water doesn't care about what board you ride. I care about what the names are doing for the sport, and I feel that LF has done a ton more than hyperlite, and put more heart and soul into their product than anyone else on the market. It doesn't matter what their equip is like, or what name it says on the board....if it pushes the sport forward, im all for that. my $.02. |

'03 Premier 140 with Byerly bindings. Mariognarly, I think that having competition in the industry promotes innovation. If there were just one board company, they would not have to develope new styles, and have better boards. I currently ride hyperlite because it suits my style, and I have a good shop locally, but if I found another board I liked better, I would get it. just my $.02 _________________ "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." - Benjamin Franklin

I agree man, sorry to sound one sided there, thats not what I was trying to get across. Just ride what suits you, LF suits me, so thats what I ride. Not meaning to put down HL, I just dont like their gear. Ride on. |

The 137 Harris with some 03 Ultra's. I love any of the LF bidings, especially now that they have that ohhh so comfy foot bed. _________________ "What do you mean you're done for the night...Insomnia doesn't even open until 4. Get your $*** together Billy, cause the night ain't over!"
