Does anybody know wat's happening with correctcraft ?

do you order directly from correctcraft? or with your dealer in the netherlands.
i have a simular problem with the correctcraft dealer in belgium. there's only one dealer in belgium and he sucks
i've tried to order a new driver seat pedastal but i don't get any answers, i called like 7x and every time he said i gonna call you back, but no answers.
can you give me a phone number of a netherlands correctcraft dealer? i'm from belgium.
the season is started and i can't mount my driver seat |

I orderd it at my local dealer in the Netherlands (also only one) and i have seen HIS documents. That's why i'm convinced the problem is CorrectCraft headquaters or spareparts department. He tried to get a jumpseat for my SAN but after 18 months! i had to cancel and orderd it in the states and take care of shipping myself
look at http://www.geijsman-watersport.nl for his number.

In my decades of boating, I think most boat companies are pretty bad with service.
Sometimes, some parts are standard to other makes of boats as well and you can deal with them instead,, especially with drivelines. _________________ WWW.battlesangel.com

Hi S.A.N. , I dealed with Geijsman before (couple of times). Believe me, the problem is Geijsman! I ordered some Nautique decals and some LF binding parts at Geijsman and after 2 years we still didn't got them!! Now we ordering parts at activ boat in Germany (also CC dealer), and there service is sublim! Call or mail them, and you've got you're parts within days delivered!! Very nice people over there. There is a new CC dealer in the Netherlands (PM or mail me for his number). Although he's not official if I remember it correctly, I'm sure he can help you with all CC stuff. He handles also repairs and warranty issues of CC.
One more problem with Geijsman occured last year with us. Our previous CC didn't run smooth as before, so we brought the boat to Geijsman (after checking the engine by ourself, timing, carb and cilinder presure). Everything looked good, but the engine didn't ran 100%. So after we brought the boat after appointment and after 2 days we got a call that our boat needed a new engine or rebuilt one. We were; wtf?!?!? He said the engine was bad on 6 cilinders and couldn't repair it. We said that we checked the compression ourself and it was perfect before we brought it. They checked it multiple times they said. We got our boat back (after paying 800-900 euros for a repair which wasn't a repair (they changed a couple of parts though) and we had to pay for 10 hour of labour!!! We checked the boat ourself and the compression was fine. So we brought the boat to a US car specialist and checked the engine. Also at his place; compression was almost perfect. He said that the valve timing needed to be checked. So after disassembly the exhaust and valve coffers we saw that one valve wasn't opening correctly. After 1/2 an hour we found the problem and fixed it (broken hydraulic, 7 euro part). We paid that guy 50 euros for the trouble... We got back to Harry (Geijsman) and told the story, he didn't believe us!! Unbelieveble, it was the last time he saw us. The dealer in Germany is 5 times the distance, but the service is superb!!! |
