I am looking for a wakeskate to begin with. I can buy a new Hyperlite Scape(2004) for 129 dollars. Or a not-used Hyperlite Scape 107 (2003) for 129 dollars, which costed last year 179 dollar. But when I looked at the other wakeskates, they all got cheaper. And I think a newer board of the same serie is better than the last one.

I would like to get some advice from you guys. Please choose from these two skates please, since it's a little hard to get wakeskates here in Europe.

Oh yeah, and also, if I would choose for the 2004 skate, which length should I buy, where does that depend on?

the length depends on what size you are. alot of people ride a 42 inch board, which is the same size as the 107 (i think?).

yeah, I know, but like I said it's kind a hard and these two skates I can get a good deal on. So I ask you to make a choice between these two. Would you think the new model is better than last year's?

okay, if hyperlite is not that good, which skate would you advice, for about 100-130 dollar. Is liquid force good? And also, what is good online site to purchase, that also delivers in europe?

I had a 03 scape and it started to delam within like a month so I sent it back this winter and they sent me an 04 scape and I really don't see any difference in the board itself ... they did seal it a little bit better so if they are the same price I would definatly go with the new one

Dude, if you're already paying $130, you might as well go "all out" and hook up a nicer skate. I've always been a believer that something that costs more up front, can be better in the end. A cheaper skate may be nicer in the beginning, but when they start to crack and take on water, I think personally that it'd have made more sence to wait a little, and got the next step up.

MRFANCYPANTS, its awesome to have an opinion, but try to make it constructive. Say WHY you think cassette rocks, and Hyperlite sucks, that will usually get your point across much better.
